Barbells: Clean & Jerk; 1-1-1
Use the heaviest weight you can for each set. Rest as needed between sets.
Take your time and warm up to this, sets of 5-5-5-3-3-2-2 then your working sets of three heavy singles, over 85% of your 1RM.
WOD: Death By Deadlift and Push up, start the first minute with
- 1 Deadlift (135/95)
- 1 Hand-release Push Up (competitors, start out with HSPUs, then move to Hand-Release Push up after you fall off the pace)
Then, each minute there after, add one rep. When you can no longer keep up with the clock, you are done. However… You must go on for at least 13 minutes. If you fall off the clock before then, drop down to 1/2 of the last set’s reps and start ascending again for the remaining time. If you are able to keep up with the clock for the full 13 minutes, continue until you are no longer able to keep the pace…
