The June Beginner’s WOD Challenge!

So you’ve been wondering about this Crossfit thing for a while, and you’re pretty confident that you can handle it, but for whatever reason you haven’t pulled the trigger and come in. Well this is your chance! Announcing the June “Beginner’s WOD” Challenge! Here’s the deal: call or email and set up an intro session with one of our coaches, and if you are able to complete our Introductory Workout of the Day (WOD) in under 5 minutes, your first month is free.

The WOD is this:

  • 200 Meter Run
  • 15 Push Ups, Sit ups and Air Squats
  • 12 Push Ups, Sit Ups and Air Squats
  • 9 Push Ups, Sit Ups and Air Squats
  • 200 Meter Run.

All movements must have a complete range of motion for the rep to count. That means that push ups must be from the toes, with your elbows locked out at the top and your chest must hit the floor at the bottom. For the sit ups we will use an AbMat and bottoms of the soles of your shoes must be together.  Your shoulder blades must hit the ground to make full extension and your hands must reach over the end of the toe box of your shoes at the top for the rep to count. For a squat to count the crease of your hip must be below the top of your knees at the bottom and your hips and knees must be fully extended at the top.
