There has been some general clamoring lately by some of you about wanting to compete next year, to have a legit shot at making it to the regionals, and I think that’s awesome!!! Here’s the thing; if you want to be a contender next year, you’ve got to start training for it THIS year, as in NOW.
So, here’s what’s happening: We are going to field some at least one if not two teams for the Open in 2013 in the hopes of making it to regionals and maybe try to place some individuals, too. If you want to be a competitor, starting NOW get to 5 WOD’s/week as often as you can and leave NOTHING on the table. Let it all hang out. Go balls to the wall intense as hard as you can for the next three weeks.
Then starting September 3rd we will be adding some, shall we say, extra credit. Still come to the 5 WODs you were coming to, but on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday we’ll be doing the extra work needed to get you to 11. More details will be coming as you need them.
