Today’s WOD is a bit of a choose your own adventure. We are starting something new here on Mondays and Thursdays, and you can choose if you’d like to participate or not. Here’s how it works… Monday and Thursday are going to have a distinct strength bias as an option, meaning that we’ll be working on Squats, Shoulder Presses, Bench Presses, Power Cleans and Deadlifts. I have all the details worked out, you just have to show up and pick things up and put things down.
Here’s where the choice comes in…. On Monday and Thursday, we’ll have a regular WOD scheduled, so if you don’t want to do the strength stuff, you can get the same great programming that we’ve always had. But, doing the strength bias does not get you off the hook, you just get to do an abbreviated version. Today, for example, the WOD is 8 rounds for time of 10 push presses and 30 box jumps. But, if you’re lifting heavy shit, too, then you only have to do 3 rounds. See? Doesn’t that sound fun? It is, just trust me.
Also, the new shirts will be here on March 8th, and the ladies shirts will be here soon, too. As soon as I get a proof, I’ll post it.
